Luxury residences between sustainability and the sea
Mareterra is the new eco-sustainable district of Monte Carlo — an architectural and urban project that has redefined the Principality’s skyline through a six-hectare extension into the sea. Designed by internationally renowned studios and guided by environmental sustainability principles, Mareterra is now one of the most prestigious residential areas on the French Riviera.
In this exceptional setting, Spazio Italiano curated the interior design of two apartments, each with its own identity, interpreting the clients’ requests with a tailor-made approach and a design language aligned with the philosophy of the development.
Le Renzo
Natural elegance in harmony with light
The apartment located in the Le Renzo complex features three bedrooms with dressing rooms, a spacious living area with dining and relaxation spaces.
Here, the design choice focused on natural materials and neutral colors, favoring shades of white and beige enriched with wood accents and bronze details.
The result is a harmonious and welcoming environment, where natural light takes center stage, enhancing the sense of continuity with the surrounding landscape.
Les Jardins d’Eau
A spectacular duplex balancing conviviality and intimacy
The second project involves a duplex apartment in the Les Jardins d’Eau complex, characterized by generous square footage and a layout that required a balance between conviviality and intimacy.
Here, Spazio Italiano combined light and dark marbles with a warm color palette to create a refined and contemporary atmosphere.
On the ground floor, a dedicated area for the children was created, complete with a playroom in shades of blue and pink; upstairs, the living room features a lounge area and dining table designed for moments of elegant socializing.
A distinctive aspect of the project was the clients’ request for two personal offices: one representative and luxurious, defined by rich dark brown tones; the other more intimate and bright, designed to ensure both functionality and comfort.
The master and guest bedrooms were instead designed with light palettes and touches of blue and sky tones, enhanced by cushions made from fine fabrics — true decorative and identity elements of the spaces.
