Bay House is one of the most exclusive residential complexes in the Principality of Monaco. It was designed for an international clientele seeking to live in contemporary apartments, filled with natural light and equipped with every modern comfort. Its privileged location, overlooking the sea, and its refined architecture make it one of the most sought-after destinations in Monte Carlo. In this setting, Spazio Italiano created an interior design project that reinterprets luxury with elegance, atmosphere, and personality.
A bespoke interior design project in Monte-Carlo
The client’s request was clear: a chic, warm, and welcoming home that would reflect a sophisticated style. This vision was achieved through the use of smooth materials and a soft color palette. The result is a luxury interior design project combining warm beige, pink, and bronze tones with refined finishes. These include marble, dark emperador travertine, and burnished bronze details, paired with silk fabrics and fine sand-colored leathers.
Inside Bay House Monaco
Bay House is one of Monaco’s most prestigious residential addresses, located in the exclusive Larvotto district with panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea. The residence comprises 56 apartments and five exceptional villas, each designed to the highest standards of luxury living. Indeed, every detail has been conceived to create an atmosphere of rare elegance and refined comfort.
Spazio Italiano was entrusted with the interior design of selected residences within Bay House, bringing its signature Italian craftsmanship to one of the Principality’s most emblematic projects. Furthermore, each space was conceived as a bespoke environment, tailored to the residents’ lifestyle, with carefully selected materials, custom furniture and meticulous attention to every detail. As a result, the interiors seamlessly blend contemporary elegance with the warmth of Italian design tradition.
The project called for a refined palette of premium materials, fine marble, lacquered surfaces and handcrafted Italian furniture, chosen to complement the architecture and maximize the sense of space and light. Whether in the living areas, bedrooms or private terraces, every room reflects a consistent vision of understated luxury. Finally, the panoramic views over Monaco and the Mediterranean were treated as an integral part of the design, with open layouts and floor-to-ceiling glazing that bring the outside in.
Project overview: Materials, design and Italian craftsmanship
The living area, the true heart of the apartment, offers a generous layout. However, it feels intimate and comfortable thanks to a careful play of colors and custom-made furniture. At its center stands a large marble table, designed to host many guests. Above it, a sculptural chandelier becomes the visual focal point of the space. In addition, equipped partitions and open shelving units create rhythm and depth, while a petrol-blue armchair adds a bold accent.
The night area is conceived as a private retreat, with each room carrying its own identity. The master bedroom, with its intense atmosphere, features a large walk-in closet and nubuck leather wall panels. Together, they achieve a perfect balance of comfort and character. Meanwhile, the children’s room takes on a dreamlike tone, thanks to Fornasetti’s cloud-themed wallpaper, a delicate color palette, and a rainbow headboard bed, a symbol of lightness and play. Finally, the playroom/study blends relaxation areas with workspace, enriched by iconic design furniture and refined color details.
